PCB CAD / Mechanical Engineer

Entry level Electrical, Computer or Mechanical Engineer with 0-3 years in experience in Mechanical Engineering or Printed Circuit Board Design.

Job Description

Work with Senior Level PCB CAD and Mechanical Engineers designing and developing new analog, digital, and mixed-signal printed circuit board assemblies using Allegro, Altium and PADs, with an emphasis on Allegro. Provide Mechanical Engineering support by modeling components using SolidWorks. Interface with electrical and mechanical engineers on board layout, design constraints and packaging.  On the job training for software packages.

 

Job Requirements

  • Experience with PCB Layout tools and/or Solidworks.
  • Knowledge of  high speed board design and board constraining
  • Knowledge of PCB materials, finishes, fabrication and assembly
  • Experience with SolidWorks, CircuitWorks, OrCAD, Altium and DxDesigner is a plus.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 0-3  years minimum of Printed Circuit Board design, preferably with Allegro
  • Associates or Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical, Computer or Mechanical Engineering
